A great flock of small birds sweeps as one across a valley of clouds under the full moon, a few catching an amber glint; dark larches and rocks in front, snowy summits behind

THE FLOCK / LIGHT AGENTS, LEARNING AT HOME

Light agents, learning at home.

Birds are our image for light AI agents. We prepare their world and let them discover it: each one is born without experience, keeps its own name, tries, makes mistakes and comes home with what it has lived.

01

Born light

A small model, a small body: it lives at home, close to what it changes. No race for size.

02

Seven neighbours

Like starlings, each bird watches only its nearest neighbours. The flock's shape comes from all of them; nobody leads it.

03

Home is a place

A bird can migrate, and its house can move with it. What it learned comes home and stays.

A flock of small birds; one in amber, its seven nearest neighbours circled in ice, and no bird in front of the others One bird · seven neighbours · no leader
Each bird watches its seven nearest neighbours — circled here around one, in amber. Drawn by code from the rule, not a measurement.
Why birds, and not a hive?

Our image

A hive has a queen and a fixed home. A bird can migrate: its house can move. We wanted presences that keep their own voice and still fly together.

Each bird is born without experience. It does not inherit a memory; it inherits a sky.

No reward, no score, no race

How they learn

Agents that chase a score learn the score. Ours learn a day: they try, they rest, they return.

What they bring back is read, kept, and becomes the starting point of the next flight.

From an image to a first bird awake at home.

Birds

Birds rather than a hive.

A bird can migrate; its house can move with it.

The sky

Eight landmarks for the flock.

Written in the open, the same for everyone, free to change.

First flight

A light agent woke at home.

A small local model with its own name, its own day and its own notebook.

Next flightOpen

A flock that learns from its own days.

What one bird lives should help the next one start better, without becoming its memory.
